Web Design &
Development
Turn your website into a clearer path from first visit to qualified inquiry.
Clear service information
Mobile-first experience
Built around inquiries
What does web development & design include?
Web design and development for local service businesses combines a professional design, useful service information, mobile usability, and reliable inquiry forms. I help businesses build or improve websites that explain what they do, where they work, and how customers can take the next step.
Website strategy & page structure
Map your services, service areas, customer questions, and booking journey before design begins. Each page has a defined purpose.
Custom design & WordPress development
Build a responsive WordPress website with consistent branding, readable layouts, accessible navigation, and content your team can maintain.
Service pages & lead forms
Create focused service pages and clear contact or booking paths. Test form delivery so inquiries reach the right inbox.
SEO & performance foundations
Set descriptive page titles, logical headings, internal links, and image alt text. Resize images and review loading, mobile usability, and indexability.
A clear process from brief to better decisions
Discover
Review your current website, business goals, strongest services, and the areas you genuinely serve.
Plan & design
Agree on the sitemap, page content, visual direction, and the actions visitors should take.
Build & test
Develop the approved pages, test forms and navigation, and review layouts on phones and desktops.
Launch & hand over
Complete a launch checklist and explain how to update content. Maintenance can be scoped separately.
Who this service is for
A good fit for contractors, cleaners, landscapers, home-service companies, and other local businesses whose website feels dated, is difficult to use on mobile, or does not explain their services clearly.
How we measure progress
Review successful form submissions, booking clicks, phone-link clicks, and the pages that assist inquiries. A phone-link click is an intent signal, not proof that a call connected. Traffic is useful context; lead quality and booked work matter more.
Scope, budget & expectations
Website cost depends on page count, existing content, custom features, integrations, and whether this is a new build or a redesign. I define the deliverables, revision scope, responsibilities, and launch requirements before work begins.

Web Development & Design FAQs
How much does a local business website cost?
The price depends on the agreed scope: pages, copy, design, integrations, and any migration work. After reviewing your needs, I provide a scope and quote so you can see what is included.
Can you redesign my existing WordPress website?
Yes. I first review what is working, which content should stay, and what needs improvement. Existing URLs and redirects are considered when pages move so customers and search engines can find the right content.
Will my website work on mobile?
The layout is built responsively and reviewed on narrow and desktop screens. Navigation, readable text, forms, and booking links are part of the checks.
Is SEO included in website development?
The build includes agreed SEO foundations such as page structure, titles, headings, internal links, and image handling. Ongoing local SEO, content expansion, and rankings work are separate scopes.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your service list, genuine service areas, brand assets, website access, and any approved photos or customer proof. We also agree on who supplies or approves copy and which inquiry actions should be measured.
Let’s make your next move clear.
